Aims of the Colloquium:

to identify the ‘support, recognition and enhancement needs’ of sessional staff in reference to sustaining high quality teaching, learning and research in the university sector;
to discuss and explore ‘good practice’ as identified in the data (case studies & vignettes) collected from the 16 universities in the project; and
to identify issues and challenges in terms of sustainable implementation and achievement of good practice considering the contextual diversity in which universities, their faculties and schools operate.
